Mestizo Media Group, Inc. dba DCLifemagazine.com (“us,” “we,” or “Company”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its visitors and users of this website (the “Site”) or any services provided in connection with the Site (the “Services”). We created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site, and to demonstrate a commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.

2.1. WHAT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

(a) Categories of Personally Identifiable Information. We collect personally identifiable information from you only if you sign up for a Service or contact us including:

(g) DMCA CLAIM DISCLOSURES. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, better known as the “DMCA”. Should we receive a claim of copyright infringement, we will comply with the safe harbor requirements of the DMCA. Part of that compliance may require the disclosure of your identity if you are either the allegedly infringing party or the party filing the copyright infringement complaint.

The Site has reasonable security measures in place such as Secure Sockets Layer protocols to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss, misuse, to you or to any third party arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.

5. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Site is not intended for use by children, especially those under age 13. No one under the age of 13 is allowed to provide any personal information or use our public discussion areas, forums and chats. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17 must get permission of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before making purchases, including subscriptions, on this site. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent, unless permitted by law. If we learn that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it in accordance with applicable law. You are encouraged to read those documents as we have no control over their provisions and said documents may differ greatly from our terms and privacy policy.
