On October 5-7, 2012, Latin Fashion Week blazed the stage at the Washington Convention Center.  Designers included: Geova Rodrigues, Emily Gonzaga, Adolfo Sanchez, Maurizio Alberino, Rosita Hurtado, Mario Alberto Gallegos jr, Cesar Alcocer, Tim Bradley, Ika Harrison, Edith Cary, Xcluzv, Jaggy Owl and JK Ferguson.

The event not only covered fashion shows and creative styles, but featured a closing party every day with music not to miss. LATIN FASHION WEEK is Washington DC's fashion week

I am a college student studying fashion branding. I have been to many fashion events in the DMV area; but Latin Fashion Week thus far is the most ENERGETIC and "DIVERSE" fashion week I have seen in DC. For the first time I was unable to remove my eyes from the runway even for a second to blog. Every designer presented amazing, brilliant, couture and different pieces. Whether it was hand painted as the Jaggy Owl show, exotic brazilian bikinis such as Emily Gonzaga's D'Milikah show or purely elegant as Edith Cary and Rosita Hurtado's show everything was mouth dropping spectacular. Amazing Latin Fashion Week truly is the Nation's Capital PREMIERE fashion week.
