The Limited Brings A New Line For The Curvy Woman

On June 29, 2012, The Limited held their grand reopening to celebrate the newly remodeled store located on the third floor.  One of the main features included a new clothing line, eloquii that is designed for plus size women.  The morning of the event, I interviewed Jodi Arnold, VP of design for eloquii by The Limited.  She stated how really proud she is of The Limited for making eloquii a really important part of the store that looks so elevated with a warm friendly atmosphere.   There is an iPad section available for customers to be able to view their larger variety of eloquii online that displays 250 choices oppose to their 75 choices on the racks.  However, Arnold said, “We knew that we needed to do this in order to have contact with her and let her see how important this is to us.”  Eloquii by The Limited shows the plus size woman that the quality is no different from the petite size woman.  Also, there is an eloquii specialist located in the store to assist the customer directly.  I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Cici, eloquii Specialist at the grand reopening event whom Arnold spoke very highly about. 

The retail store gives customers a comfortable atmosphere to shop.  During my tour, I noticed uplifting writings on the wall that spoke to my inner self such as this one, “Once there was a curvy woman who loved fashion.  Finding fashion that loved her back proved bit of a challenge. Until now… Introducing eloquii by The Limited” I am a plus size figured woman that has always had this challenge as an adult, but while testing the new clothing line in the dressing room, I felt absolutely fabulous in eloquii.  I finally found fashionable attire to wear to work or out on a date that complimented my figure with a classy appeal.   The dressing rooms were personalized with your name on the front of the door and a button to ring, if you need assistance.  That’s just amazing, especially for customers who may end up getting the wrong size which creates a hassle because you have to get dress and grab all of your clothing just to go back on the floor to switch sizes.  Well, not at The Limited…..push the button and staff will immediately arrive and assist you, whether it is for changing sizes or being fitted for size.
