The savvy businessman recently signed DC rapper Wale into the fold of his MMG collective. The Maybach rapper, and former MC for the MTV Video Awards has had a phenomenal mixtape run which included 100 Miles and Running, The Mixtape About Nothing, Back To The Feature, and a sure-shot debut single, “Chillin’,” which featured pop icon Lady Gaga. Wale was recently named Source Magazine’s 2011 Comeback Artist of the Year, for the success of his sophomore album, Ambition.
